I was lucky enough to meet Joanne at a wedding fair and she was so unbelievably kind and friendly.
We had a design idea in mind and Jo worked with us to bring this to life, she was open to all our ideas and when we presented challenges (such as our desire to have a carrot cake layer) she found a way to make them work.
The whole process was a joy with the cake tasting at Jo’s cake studio being a real treat. The cupcakes she made for us to sample the flavours worked incredibly well as we were able to take them away and it gave us lots of time to mull over what we wanted rather than having slices to eat in the tasting.
The finished product was exactly what we wanted visually and exceeded all our expectations on flavour. Multiple people told us it was the best cake they had had at a wedding and we can’t help but agree!

When Carrie's birthday came up I knew just how to make it to impress. I ordered a custom Cake from Luxe Cakes and Artisan Bakes.
Carrie loves Alice in Wonderland and after a friendly chat with Jo we decided that it would be a great theme for the cake. Not only did it look absolutely amazing but it tasted fantastic as well.
